THERAPY WITH AMBER MICHAELS · SHE/HER
A little weird.
Very human.
Room for you.
Virtual individual therapy for life’s complicated chapters. Bring your questions, your tangled thoughts, and your actual self.
Nevada + Connecticut · Appointments through Grow Therapy

HI. I’M AMBER.
A real person.
A curious therapist.
Me too.
I’m Amber Michaels (she/her), a therapist with 10 years of experience and a warm, direct, curious approach. I’m also awkward, atypical, and weird. I welcome those parts of myself, and I want you to have room to show up as you are.
My perspective comes from clinical work and lived experience: late-diagnosed ADHD, chronic illness, and losing a baby. I know life can get complicated, and I bring that humanity into our conversations.
Expect honest questions, kindness, and an active conversation about the patterns you want to understand. We’ll explore whether working together feels right for you.

Start with a conversation.
Virtual individual therapy in Nevada and Connecticut. My Grow profile lists EMDR among my treatment methods.
Let’s get to know each other.
We’ll discuss your history, what brings you in, and your hopes for therapy, with room to assess our fit.
You don’t need to arrive with a perfectly organized story.

THE BRAIN SIDE QUESTS APPROACH
Useful beats perfect.
Small tools for brains doing the most. Mental health concepts in human language, with space for your actual life. Choose one page. Try one useful step. Skip what doesn’t fit.
These original educational worksheets are for adults. They are not diagnostic tests, treatment, or clinically validated tools. A download does not create a therapy relationship. Persistent difficulties deserve professional support.
A few good questions.
Which new resources are free, and which are paid?
The infertility, pregnancy loss, infant loss, and grief packs are free. The two-page symptom tracker and appointment summary are also free, with no purchase required. The three chronic illness planning and reflection packs are paid products with public samples; purchases will open after the shop is connected.
How do I book therapy with Amber?
Use any booking button to visit my Grow Therapy profile. Check your location, available appointments, insurance, and costs there. Booking and clinical intake take place through Grow Therapy.
Can I use the resources without becoming a client?
Yes. The free activity sheets, journal pages, and starter sheet are available to everyone. They are educational tools and do not establish a therapy relationship.
Are the new activity and journal pages free?
Yes. Each of the seven new topic packs contains one activity sheet and one journal page. Download them individually or get all 14 pages in a single PDF. The original four mini packs remain previews for a future paid shop.
What do I get in a mini pack?
Two printable pages for one topic. Preview the actual PDF above before deciding whether it fits. The free starter sheet is one page.
Can I buy the packs yet?
The paid shop is coming soon. The starter kit proposes $5 per mini pack and $15 for a bundle; these prices are not active offers. PDF previews are available now. Checkout, customer terms, and refund policies still need to be connected before sales begin.
Are the PDFs fillable?
No. Print them or annotate them using your own PDF app. You can reuse them when helpful; no daily tracking streak is required.
Is the OCD pack a self-help treatment plan?
No. It is education and preparation for a conversation with an OCD-informed clinician. It does not prescribe exposures. Set it aside if completing it becomes repeated checking or a ritual.
